There’s a photo I’ve painted multiple times — a snapshot taken from the back seat of a moving car of the Eastern Sierras. It wouldn’t win any photography contest on the planet much less get into any art show, but the scenery spoke to me and I knew I had to paint it just one more time. High Mountain Mustang was the result.
