Silver Lake I
the bird series
2018 | 5″x7″ | Available |
It was just a weekend day trip to Silver Lake with my mom. I brought my knitting and my copy of Dangerous, Milo Yiannopoulos’ long awaited and controversial book. The scenery was so beautiful I couldn’t concentrate on the book or on my knitting. A small flock of geese approached shore right in front of us as seen in Silver Lake II and I began taking pictures. This is one of the geese.
This along with another painting I did simultaneously, Taking Flight, was the smallest painting I’ve ever done at only 4″x4″! It’s so small that it’s perfect for that wall that’s too narrow for any other decoration.
This painting is available at the Cheyenne Frontier Day’s Old West Museum’s Western Spirit Miniature Show.
