Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum
The Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum’s Western Spirit Art Show opened Saturday, March 3, 2018. Several of my older paintings — King of the Road and Flight Risk — were accepted into the show and I painted two miniatures specifically for the show — Gateway to the Cuyama and Flock at San Miguel. The quality of the art was incredible and it was a true honor to be able to participate.
I was also invited to be a quick draw artist during the opening reception where I had 45 minutes to paint and 15 minutes to frame a painting that would be auctioned off that night. The painting, Longhorn Ladies, came together just in time!
King of the Road and Flight Risk can be purchased at the museum or through the museum website through April 15, 2018.
